Hooks

  • Bloody Scars — When wearing scant clothing, or none at all, one might notice Deo's scars that seem to always appear to be freshly carved into his skin. They do not bleed, neither to they seem to heal. And when he imbibes a special kind of drink, one might even see them glow in appreciation.

  • Face As Expressive As Stone — Some Thavnairians, particularly residents of Radz-at-Han, might recognize Deo's half-shrouded and deadpan visage as one of the kind faces that helped the recuperation of the city after the threat of the Final Days. Though Deo himself might not necessarily remember everyone he and his parents have helped.

  • I See Dead People — As much as he tries to hide it, there are still slim chance encounters where one would find Deo's lips, chin, or even fingers stained with blood. Though not in excessive amounts, making it almost look like he's injured. Is it even his blood? Or someone else's?

History

Quiet, timid, and often emotionless by practice, A'deo has always lived his life set on his nihilism. In his younger years, despite an innate dreary outlook in life itself, Deo did manage to find happiness and brotherhood in his childhood friends, Mei and Chiyo. Unfortunately, as he would always have said, time did still come for them on their 14th namedays when they've all presented as omegas. He still remembers the day it happened when Deo and Chiyo's parents, as well as Mei-Mei's butler, all decided it was best they kept their charge indoors lest they be met with unwanted aggression set upon them.Years passed, and Deo's family remained living as nomads, travelling the world, and helping where they can until one fateful night, when one in their tribe had accused Deo of the murder of kin, causing strife and rift to form between both Deo and his parents, as well as Deo's family and their tribe's Nunh.Unconvinced of Deo's innocence, he and his fathers were cast out from their tribe. Despite the arguments that had broke out between Deo and his parents, they persevered and travelled together still, continuing to do what they did before their exile until such time they had reached Radz-at-Han, and found themselves stranded as the threat of the Final Days loomed over the vibrant city.By some miracle, the smoldering skies did turn blue once more, and Deo and his fathers stayed in the city then, helping the kind people rebuild and recuperate from the tragedy, doing what they can to assist the Satrap, Vrtra, in these efforts.
Over the course of their stay, Deo's fathers have learned of his continued and unabated practice of a forbidden form of magic: Hemomancy. Before word could reach the city and worse, the dragon that ruled over it, Deo's parents begged, pleaded, and argued against their child's misguided ambitions. But these fell on deaf ears. Not long after, Deo served his own banishment, and fled to the city-state of Limsa Lominsa, where he wandered aimlessly, in search of his once closer childhood friends.

History

Displaced from Doma as a babe, Apollo was raised by a monetarist by the name of Ferrodin Meirunn, who saw in his foster child a way to keep his wealth within the confines of his dwindling family name.Growing up, Mei-Mei met, and became friends with, Deo and Chiyo, coining the nicknames "Dee-Dee" and "Chi-Chi" for them respectively, which in turn had them give him the nickname "Mei-Mei".Separated since their 14th namedays, the trio grew older apart. Not too long after, Mei-Mei unavoidably grew tired of his sheltered life, and sought a means to escape his foster father's clutches. Little did he know that Ferrodin was already aware of his little adventures at night when he would sneak out of the manor. In an attempt to keep his prized possession from slipping out of his grasp, he paid a nameless mage to bestow a mark on Mei-Mei's skin, imbuing it with simple magicks that made it easy for Ferrodin's personal Blades to track his foster child down whenever he sneaks away. One night, however, in the discovery of this subterfuge, Mei-Mei attempted to have the tracking sigil removed, triggering an unexpected effect of what seemed to be a pact between Ferrodin and the voidsent that has now manifested and become one with Mei-Mei's mind and body.

  • Race: Miqo'te, Seeker of the Sun

  • Sexuality: Gay

  • Nameday: 13th Sun of the 1st Astral Moon (Jan 13th)

Hooks

  • Void-Touched — Mei-Mei's aether may appear strange to those who can see or sense it. Though he carries the weight of a voidsent in his soul, it does not seem to corrupt or consume him. It lingers around his person like his pheromone scents, and breathe with his natural aether as if in perfect harmony.

  • A Small Jingling Cat — Mei-Mei's childhood and early adulthood were both heavily spent around the Sapphire Avenue Exchange. Most of the shopkeep there know him. Those who grew up in Ul'dah might have seen him around, seemingly always around an entourage of Brass Blades once some many summers ago. The one thing that always gave him away was the tinkling of the bell on his tail.

  • Race: Hhetsarro, Xbr'aal, Au Ra, Raen

  • Sexuality: Gay

  • Nameday: 13th Sun of the 2nd Astral Moon (Mar 13th)

Hooks

  • SomTech Weapons — Chiyo, since his days in Solution Nine, has been in the business of crafting electrope-powered weaponry for most of his adult life. A lot of his work were commissioned by anonymous buyers, and in the name of keeping both them and his business alive, he will never actively seek their information out unless given a reason to.

  • A Strange Man With Stranger Markings — Chiyo's body is riddled with ridges and crevices that may seem unnatural for anyone with flesh and bone. Nonetheless, he is more man than machine.

  • A Regular Regulator — Chiyo's head seems to still be adorned with one of Alexandria's "regulators", despite the controversy around them. Though, surely, most Eorzeans would see it as nothing more than a peculiar ornament.

History

Born Turali, Chiyo was first named Ty'ai Xipilli. He lived a peaceful and busy life with his three fathers in the west where trade and travel were their bread and butter. This, then, gave them opportunities to travel west to Eorzea, where Ty'ai Xipilli first adopted his Eorzean name, I'chiyo Tia, and met and became fast childhood friends with Deo and Mei-Mei.By the time of his 14th nameday, Ty'ai Xipilli, much like his friends, was whisked away by his fathers to keep him safe.15 summers later, he would find himself ushered into his fathers' trade, finding a particular leaning into weaponsmithing. Having spent enough time writing to his friends, who would write back every now and again, he decided to pay them a visit in Eorzea as I'chiyo Tia, only to be hindered by an entire kingdom that trapped Yyasulani. For 30 years, Chiyo and his fathers lived in Solution Nine, assuming their Eorzean names for the sake of caution, and furthering his weaponsmithing career. After the dethronement of its tyrannical king, Chiyo took the chance to travel back to Eorzea in hopes to meet his childhood friends again.
